PRP injection: how does it work?
PRP injection by mesotherapy involves taking a few millilitres of blood from the patient and centrifuging it for 5 minutes. Plasma 5 times richer in growth factors than normal is obtained and injected into the patient's dermis on the face, neck, décolleté and hands if necessary.
Scientific studies have shown that PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma) stimulates the skin stem cells responsible for collagen and elastin production. The result is an increase in the thickness of the dermis and a reduction in fine lines. The skin looks younger, brighter and less dull, and skin imperfections such as scars and spots are reduced. The treatment provides an immediate radiance boost.
For optimum results, we recommend that you have 3 PRP facial treatments (mesotherapy) per year, at least 4 to 6 weeks apart.
